About Me

Hi, I'm Jamie! Just another one of those horse crazed little girls who never outgrew that horse "phase!" I'm also a wife and mother to the best two red heads a person can find. My horse obsession growing up also included an obsession with photography starting with my parents 35mm film point and shoot camera. My mom still claims that digital photography is the best thing to happen to her wallet; no more film to develop! It was inevitable that my two passions would one day collide and I would find myself being an equine photographer.

Growing up I was introduced to the sport of reined cow horse and have been trying to master the 3 events ever since I started showing in 1999. I was genuinely lucky growing up in Central California, the heart and roots of reined cow horses. When I met my now husband, Bobby, I got introduced to the worlds of bull riding, team roping, rodeo and cattle ranching. I have a full understanding of the many facets of the horse and ranching worlds and that helps me to be better able to capture these events for you!
